Google Life 102
4 weeks (12 hours) — One 3 hour class per week
For all audiences
Objectives: This course will introduce the student to the advanced world of Google. The student will learn Advanced Search, Google Docs, Google+ , advanced Chrome features/apps, and iGoogle. Cloud technology will be integrated as it relates to all curriculum items.
Description:
- Students will expand on their Cloud knowledge and how Google empowers them through tools and technology.
- Students will learn to create, edit and manage Google Documents.
- Students will learn advanced search techniques that will enhance their knowledge, productivity and personal relationships.
- Students will create a Google+ account and interact in Google Hangouts.
- Students will learn about advanced Google Chrome features and applications to help them in everyday life.
- Students will learn how to create their own customized iGoogle page and incorporate everything they have learned in Google Life 101 & 102 into widgets on their personal page.
