Founded by a group of entrepreneurs, the School of Opportunity brings a unique approach to education. By combining practical business and relating skills throughout the curriculum, students are developed as “whole people” even better equipped to interact effectively in today’s challenging world. All classes are designed to support students in reaching their potential, which we, the Partners, believe is unbounded in each individual.
TinaRae moved to Florida as a teen and has resided in Southwest Florida since 2000. She holds a Masters of Education Degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville. She is a Florida Certified teacher and has taught all age groups, from 8 weeks to adult. She has worked at numerous colleges, including Webster College (New Port Richey, FL), State College of Florida (formerly Manatee Community College), and Southwest Florida College. TinaRae is one of the founders of Achievements Learning Center in North Port and has worked as the Executive Director for the past 12 years. Community Involvement: Founding member of Imagine North Port and North Port Economic Development Corporation. Currently serves as a board member of the North Port Economic Development Corporation and North Port Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on a number of committees. She is a graduate of Gulf Coast Leadership Institute.
Relationships are at the heart of Jacqueline’s work. She collaborates and partners with individuals, teams and organizations focused on high performance, creativity and achieving their potential through positive adaptation.
Jacqueline is a decidedly energetic and engaging facilitator who partners in the development of strategies for change and the cultivation of leadership at all levels. She is especially adept at working with leaders to imagine and create cultures of openness, stewardship and trust. She has a broad background in leadership development and coaching, assessments, diversity and inclusion, civility, board development, and training.
She has developed, designed, planned implementation for, and delivered events for leaders at all levels in the public and private sectors. These include not-for-profit and for-profit concerns, front line telecommunications sales and service units, and international planning and strategic design groups. She designs and leads coaching programs that help people live joyful and healthy lives as members of our diverse human community.
As a result of being in the human potential business for over 25 years, Jacqueline possesses an extensive and constantly expanding toolkit. She is a certified practitioner in the areas of civility and board development with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation and also holds credentials in several growth and learning systems including the Birkman Method, Resilience Alliance, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Voices 360™. She continues to lead the human potential development company she founded in 2002.
Heather is a passionate lifelong learner known for her expertise, experience and enthusiasm for connecting people and emerging technology in a variety of contexts. She is proficient or familiar with a vast array of programming languages, concepts and platforms, and is excited about working in the arena of “cloud” technology. She is a certified Google Apps for Business reseller and has been working closely with them to bring that knowledge base to the local area.
Over the past decade, Heather has successfully served as IT Director, Web Developer, Quality Assurance Specialist, Programmer, and Human Systems Interface Designer in various regional companies. Prior to those roles and responsibilities, Heather proudly served for six years in the United States Marine Corps as Internal Pilot / Intelligence Specialist. And she holds the distinction of being the first woman to become an unmanned aerial vehicle pilot in the Marine Corps.
In addition to numerous incentives and awards Heather has received during her career, she was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal , the Boeing “Special Incentive Award” in the UCAV phase II proposal win, and held high-level security clearances in the public and private sectors.
Heather is a native New Yorker but has lived in Florida since 1990 and North Port since 1999. She relishes time with her family and supporting causes she is passionate about, such as equality and equal rights issues.
