School of Opportunity
While most schools which are curriculum based, the School of Opportunity is market driven. It is dedicated to offering rapid response to market education needs from both the student and the employers’ perspectives.
The School of Opportunity accomplishes this in a number of ways:
- By applying emerging technology, quality education resources, and existing curriculum to meet current workplace requirements.
- By integrating life skills into all of its curriculum equipping students with tools for a better quality of life and employers with a more responsible and productive employee.
- By applying technology-based management tools that make employees more technologically savvy and more productive.
- By applying quality education resources and client specific curriculum to meet workforce training requirements.
The School of Opportunity will offer classes that reflect current and emerging societal trends. These trends will be translated into skill sets that prepare the student for a meaningful life and career. Integrated into all classes will be these common threads of human effectiveness:
Self-reliance: A mindset based on pro-activity and responsibility which positions the student
to acquire opportunities with their own resources.
Sense of worth: An entrepreneurial mindset and sense of confidence that encourages the
student to take measured risks and demonstrate personal and interpersonal leadership in
problem solving.
Skill Integration and Application: A capacity to engage and apply skills to problem solving.
